Elucid Legal is a technology platform that supports independent licensed attorneys with platform-routed consultation opportunities, intake, scheduling and platform administration. Attorneys conduct consultations directly with clients, where the attorney independently accepts the engagement, in jurisdictions where they are authorized to practice.
A fixed client platform service fee (per consultation) is charged to the client at booking, separate from and in addition to the attorney's consultation fee — both disclosed before any engagement is confirmed.
What This Means for Attorneys
Clients reach you through the platform based on jurisdiction, practice area and availability. Conduct consultations via the platform's built-in video and phone tools, with your own Elucid Legal branded backdrop and a dedicated mobile number — all from one place. Attorneys remain independent and decide whether to accept an engagement after required conflict and professional checks.
Clients pay a fixed platform service fee per consultation — disclosed before booking and separate from attorney fees. Attorneys retain consultation earnings less a 16% platform administration fee (minimum fee per session applies), covering payment processing, scheduling, AI tools, video, document exchange and administrative support.
Fee structure (fixed client platform fee + 16% attorney platform fee, minimum per session) — subject to final ethics review in each attorney's jurisdiction.
The platform provides a full suite of practice tools: intake, scheduling, billing, collections, document handling, secure client messaging, video consultations with branded backdrop, platform calling with a dedicated mobile number, and AI-powered tools including Claude at reduced rates. Attorneys remain solely responsible for legal advice, professional judgment, conflict checks, privilege and compliance with applicable Rules of Professional Conduct.
Accept consultations, collaborate with other counsel on the platform, and access continuing legal education resources — on your schedule, in your jurisdictions, at your pace. Participation remains subject to licensing requirements, ethical obligations and client engagement requirements in each jurisdiction.
Licensed attorneys may apply, provide bar admission details, complete onboarding and be verified as licensed and in good standing at the time of application. Participation remains subject to approval, applicable professional rules and ongoing compliance obligations.
Status: LiveClient-facing intake portal, administrative routing based on client-selected criteria (jurisdiction, practice area, availability), consultation scheduling and platform-managed session workflows. Attorneys are matched to clients through a neutral, criteria-based routing process — no vetting, ranking or endorsement.

The platform retains a platform fee equal to 16% of the consultation fee charged to the client, in consideration for the use of the platform, payment processing, client onboarding, scheduling, document exchange, recording/transcription functionality and administrative support. A minimum fee per consultation applies, ensuring commercial viability for short sessions.
Attorney sets their own consultation rate. Net earnings = consultation fee charged to client less the 16% platform administration fee (subject to minimum). The client platform service fee is charged separately to the client and does not reduce attorney net earnings.
The platform reserves the right to adjust the platform administration fee percentage and/or the minimum per-session fee on reasonable written notice to participating attorneys, subject to applicable participation agreement terms.
Client pays: $65/hr attorney fee + a fixed platform service fee (disclosed at booking). The client platform service fee is separate and does not reduce attorney net earnings.
